Prospects are a special type of Contact that is used to identify people or organisations that you want to sell your services to.
They are a useful way of tracking, progressing and reporting on your sales efforts. For example:
- Search for all Prospects in your Contact list
- Create Insights related to Prospects
They are also the starting point for onboarding Clients. As soon as a Contact is made into a Prospect, you can start creating Agreements or letters of engagement to make them into a Client. This status is particularly important if you are on a plan where you are paying per Client - you don't pay for Prospects.
