When you import a file, we remember the UID of the client or contact we created.
If we recognise the UID of a row as having been imported before, we will overwrite what is already in onkho.
If we don't recognise the UID of a row, we will create a new client or contact in onkho.
Some gotchas:
- If you added a client directly using onkho and then try and import it using a file, the client will be duplicated because the UID will not be in onkho.
- If you imported a limited company using a file and added Directors from Companies House, they will be duplicated if you import the file again. If you need to import the file again, either delete the Directors first or don't approve the Director rows when checking the import data in onkho.
